You know Jake and perhaps love him. (For a comprehensive history and a photograph emphasizing his absurd pompadour, see About Jake.) But “Late Night Republic” stars you, the people. Some of our funniest guests and correspondents include:

DAN – By his own admission, Dan is a high-maintenance diva. Uber-professional on set, he otherwise tries to make sure everyone knows how intelligent and attractive he thinks he is – unless he’s busy getting “beauty rest.” Although he acts interested in esoteric culture, he only really cares about popstars and gossip.

ALISON – Although today it’s hard to tell, Alison was a frequent on the Kiddie Pageant scene in her younger years; she brought home four consecutive Little Ms. Sassy Pants awards (1993-1997) until she was disqualified from the competition for putting laxatives in the drinks of the other contestants.  “Oh, well” she said, and has moved on to bigger and better things, such as her hard-hitting To-Catch-A-Predator-esqe correspondent work with Late Night Republic.  And to top it all off, she likes to read sometimes.his a capella solo album or debating which U.S. presidents could fight a wolf.
