Jake Sasseville can’t sit still. He’s finished filming the fall season of Late Night Republic in New York City and now is bringing the show on the road to communities from coast to coast. With 50 days and more than 40 cities, LNR RoadTrip 2010 is ready to rock America.

You’ll have the chance to take part in some absurdly fun events and build support for great causes. You’ve heard of pillow fights in places like Boston and New York, right? We’ve commissioned the guy who made the craze global to come up with some ridiculous events for cities throughout the United States. To start, we’re creating a huge cardboard tube battle (think: gift wrap) in cities across the Midwest. You’ve heard of 3D TV. Please. This is late night talk jumping out of your TV and saying: let’s make entertainment history.

But wait, there’s more!

If you’re on a college campus, Jake’s visit may be part of the Pringles Xtreme Campus Tour featuring We The Kings and J. Cole. Hosted by Jake, the Pringles Xtreme Campus Tour will bring college students together to build schools in Southeast Asia in partnership with Room to Read. Late Night Republic is challenging students to raise enough money to build one school for every university visited on the campus tour. For more, check out our Pringles Xtreme Campus Tour site.

Track our progress online and come out to see us when we roll into your city. We’re called Late Night Republic because we want late-night TV to be movement for the people and by the people. So show up, become a part of the republic, and maybe even help change a few lives. It’s going to be awesome.
